How to Get Started

I am glad to answer any questions you may have about the counseling process before you make a first appointment.  You may call, email, or contact me from my website to see if this is a good fit for you.
I will respond within 24 hours, unless there is an unusual circumstance preventing me from doing so.

Once You are Scheduled

You will receive an email inviting you to my Client Portal.  Through the client portal you will be able to fill out all paperwork online, secure message me, view your account, print insurance documents, and arrange future appointments.  Once your paperwork is complete, all you will have to do for your first appointment is show up!

What to Expect For Your First Appointment
I ask a lot of questions during the first session to get to know you, to understand the issues that bring you to counseling, and to clarity where we need to go with counseling.  I will also give you some time to share whatever you would like me to know.


$165  First Session

$130/hr after first session

Workshop and group fees vary.

I work with insurance as an out-of-network provider.  The full fee will be due at the time of session, then I will provide the necessary paperwork to submit to insurance for reimbursement.  Your insurance will then reimburse you directly according to your benefits.

Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • What are my benefits for out-of-network mental health?
  • What is my deductible and how much has been met?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Cash, Check, or Credit, FSA/HSA cards.

Cancellation Policy
Not showing up for a scheduled therapy appointment, and not notifying me by phone at by 9pm the day before the scheduled appointment, will result in a charge for the missed session.

Referring Professionals may contact me by phone to inform me of someone you would like to refer, and ask any questions.  For the sake of continuity of care. I do not set appointments through the referring professional unless it is not possible to speak with the client.


I am happy to work with churches or other organizations who wish to assist clients with payment of sessions.  Arrangements for this are set in a financial contract with the assisting organization.
